ABOUT HEART OF HEALING
Heart of Healing is a non profit organization dedicated to erasing the stigma associated with mental health by working with communities to engage in open discussions of support for young women. Adolescents ages 12 to 18 and adults ages 18-39 by empowering them to speak freely and proactively; helping to bring about change to erase the silent suffering associated with mental health.
A Note From Janice:
Let’s face it. Grief is sorrow. Grief is sadness. Grief is miserable. Grief is pain. Grief can even be in the form of rejection. Grief is loss. Grief is every emotion you can fathom and more. But living with grief doesn't need to feel so heavy.
I made the decision to overcome and find peace and ways to cope. Finding joy in sorrow has challenged me and completely changed my life. My heart and desire is to support you in your journey to recovery as well.

Grief is the continual process that we can eventually overcome with time by focusing on the happy memories that once existed. The process of grief is unique for each of us. Only you know will know when its time to move forward after your loss. There is no rush; take your time. If you are visiting this page, then you have acknowledged the need to address this difficult time within your life. My goal is to provide a platform of resources that will be of guidance as you journey thru your loss.
The loss of a love one can have a lasting pain on an individual. Grief has no time frame of ending often lingering for years for many who have not fully dealt with a loss. The process of grieving is different for each individual. The impact of grief is different for each individual.
Complicated Grief is not a story of resentment or blame. It is a story of truth, recognition, solace, forgiveness, and freedom. It is my desire that my readers take a moment to analyze a relationship(s) within their own lives that may need healing. Take a moment and have that talk. Open the lines of communication and agree to disagree before it’s too late.
